HOME GYM ALTITUDE TRAINING
Altitude Training is the process of exercising at atmospheric conditions that can be found at elevations of 5,000ft or higher. At this altitude air pressure reduces and as such the availability of oxygen is reduced. When exercising at this altitude a physiological adaptation in the body is triggered that enhances the efficiency of the cardiovascular and respiratory system of the body. Results of training at altitude include enhanced fitness, improved breathing economy and feeling less fatigued. Using Extreme Canopy Altitude Generators we are able to control levels of oxygen within the air to simulate altitudes ranging from 1,200ft – 20,400ft. With our compact machine, portable mask and inflatable module all of this can be done from the comfort of your home gym.

Who Should Use Altitude Training?
Altitude Training should be used as a tool for anyone trying to enhance fitness or attain weight loss. Altitude Training makes the body work harder and increases the intensity of training sessions while simultaneously teaching the body to be more efficient with its oxygen supply. Altitude training is also a great tool for rehabilitation from sporting injuries as a high intensity workout can be achieved in a way that puts less physical pressure on the body.
In 2012 the Extreme Team produced the world first altitude training module for a swimming pool. This patented technology was produced for the Australian Olympic Swimming Team in preparation for the London Olympics.
